Téana David is a Pilates teacher, life-long environmentalist, student of herbal medicine in the Wise Woman tradition, and writer. She is committed to nurturing the wisdom of the body. Born in Tahiti, raised in Canada, and now based in Santa Barbara, Téana is the Director of Circle of Wisdom. Previously in New York City, she trained Pilates clients at The Pilates Local and curated a year-round lecture series at Deepak Chopra's Deepak HomeBase, featuring spiritual teachers, wellness experts & environmental leaders from around the world. As the Pilates Education Director at David Barton Gym NYC, Téana headed up the company's first-ever Pilates mat teacher training program. She holds a Master's degree in writing & producing original, somatic performance from Naropa University. Read More
Lea Bender brings over twenty years of personal practice, a love of The Yoga Sutras, and a background in circus, physical theater, and Pilates to her teaching. She teaches a range of different styles from Vinyasa to Restorative, but at the root of every class is the intention to help students tap into the sacred nature of our human experience through connection to body and breath. Lea received her 200-hour RYT certification at Jaya Yoga Center and her 300-hour RYT certification at Abhaya, both in Brooklyn, NY. She is grateful for the knowledge passed down to her through her anatomy teacher Irene Dowd and the many great yoga and meditation teachers she has had the honor to study with on her path, including Tara Brach, Yoganand Michael Carroll, Cyndi Lee and Carla Stangenberg. www.leabenderyoga.com Chantal David is a Wholistic Nurse, Massage and Spa Therapist, Wellness Coach and Colon Hydrotherapist based on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. She has devoted the past decade of her career to actively pursuing the vision of a “well world” through the creation of a multidisciplinary wellness center which she co-founded in 2006 with a Naturopathic Physician. Beyond her clinic setting, Chantal lives with purpose and commitment, feeling inspired as she explores the expanding field of wellness and mentors those around her.
